Dick Tiger road was indeed a nightmare for Imolites especially motorists and pedestrians thereby forcing them to take an alternate route which results to so much delay. Imolites cannot stop narrating their myriad of problems encountered on this particular road especially during the rainy season. Many homes were submerged and families displaced due to flooding as a result of the deplorable state of that road without a well channelled drainage.

Surprising, when the shared prosperity government of Gov. Hope Uzodimma decided to take the bull by the horn in addressing the deplorable state of Dick Tiger road, many felt it was government as usual with bogus promises yet non is usually fulfilled but the narratives changed with Gov. Hope Uzodimma and the construction of Dick Tiger road.

Today, The Dick Tiger road has been completed in line with global best standard and very much durable. It is now obvious that Gov. Hope Uzodimma is not just trying to fulfill his promise of a better and standard road network in Imo state but to inform Imolites that he is very much on course and his government will no longer entertain delays and excuses in delivering quality roads.

We are more than happy that Dick Tiger road has joined in the league of the reconstructed roads by this present administration and equally made life easier for Imo people as the road serves as an alternative route to so many destinations not to mention the economic viability occasioned by the influx of both human and vehicular movements on that road.

There is no doubt that Gov. Hope Uzodimma has given a facelift to the once dreaded Dick Tiger road and so he is doing to every other road in imo state which only means that our Governor has come to work and he is not resting until the state wears a new look then the shared prosperity can go round.
