The Senate Spokesperson, Dr Ajibola Basiru, has charged the newly appointed Resident Electoral Commissioner for Osun, Dr Tella Adeniran and the Acting Clerk of the National Assembly, Architect Olatunde Ojo to make the State of Osun proud in their new assignments.
In a joint congratulatory message,Dr Basiru reminded the duo that they got to the new positions by a dint of industry and hardwork and not just on a platter of gold. He therefore urged them to build on their efforts to move higher and do the State of Osun proud in the commity of States.
“You have demonstrated that hard work pays. Yours are a clear inspiration to younger generation that indolence cannot be a threshold to upper rungs of the societal ladder.”
“I only want to charge you to apply your experience in the new assignments ,be non partisan and do your jobs for the pride of Osun,benefit of man and to the glory of God.”
President Muhammadu Buhari had last month announced the appointment of Dr Adeniran Rahmon Tella as the new Resident Electoral Commissioner for Osun and forward his name to the Senate for confirmation while Architect Olatunde Amos Ojo moved up as the Acting Clerk of the National Assembly. Few days ago,the Senate confirmed the appointment of Dr Adenirsn Rahmon Tella.
Praying God to endow the two with more wisdom to succeed in their postings,Dr Ajibola Basiru encouraged them to work to a level where their subordinates, colleagues and superiors as well as family and friends will be proud to associate with them.
Adeniran Rahmon has BSc,Business Administration, MSc Banking and Finance and PhD Management Science. He was a lecturer at the Faculty of Management at Osun State University. He is an indigene of Osogbo and immediate past Chairman, Osogbo Progressives Union, Home Branch.
Olatunde Amos Ojo,an indigene of Ilobu,Irepodun Local Government holds BSc and MSc Architecture.
